In 1993, Sal Longo graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University. Sal was recruited by the university men’s soccer team as a goalkeeper and played for two consecutive years prior to suffering a knee injury. Staying true to his love of the game, Sal coached the Blacksburg Virginia Middle School boys’ soccer team in addition to partaking in various organizations such as the Marketing Club and the Virginia Tech Union. Currently Sal serves as an active contributing member of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association (NJ Chapter).

Before joining Allied Wealth Partners, Sal was an independent business owner and commercial insurance broker with Marsh and McLennan Companies. In 1998, Sal joined AWP and later earned his designation as a Certified Financial Planner TM professional in 2002.  Since then, he has been a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT). Achieving Court of the Table status places Sal among professionals in the global life insurance and financial services industry. Driven by standards of ethics, knowledge, service and productivity, the MDRT comprises the world’s life insurance and financial service professionals. The Million Dollar Round Table provides its financial service members with resources to improve their technical knowledge, sales and client service, while maintaining a culture of high ethical standards.

As a Senior Financial Advisor, Sal offers individual and business strategies that work towards long term financial confidence. His work philosophy is based upon a client-centric approach, one that helps ensure a comprehensive and tailored wealth management experience. For the past several years, he has instructed adult education retirement classes, providing education for pre-retirees on issues they will encounter before, during, and after retirement.

Sal Longo holds his life, accident, health and long-term care insurance licenses in multiple states. In addition, he is a licensed broker of property and casualty in the state of New Jersey and member of the Referral Associates of New Jersey.
