David Schelhorn

David Schelhorn joins Allied Wealth Partners with over 25 years of experience working on Wall Street.

As the previous Managing Director of Investment Strategies and Managing Partner at REX Capital Group, he created a successful commodity fund and fashioned excellent client relationships. His exceptional gift as a leader in the financial arena gives David a distinct edge when providing a unique view of different markets, products and financial resources available to valued clients. David prides himself in educating individuals and business owners while developing strategies that support the accumulation, protection, distribution and transfer of wealth.

In addition to financial savvy, commitment and integrity play an intrinsic role in his approach to wealth management. “Always put the client first. Their needs and goals are all that matter. Service, service, and more service, and the rest will follow”, says David. It is this school of thought that makes David a well-respected member of the Allied Wealth Partners team.

In his spare time David coaches baseball, basketball, and football. He enjoys playing golf and is a past chairman at the St. Vincent DePaul Golf outing. In addition to his love for outdoor activities, he gives back to his community as a member of the Knights of Columbus. He resides in Millington, NJ with his sons James and David and daughter Bridget.

He has earned his FINRA Series 7 & 66 registrations and holds his Life, Health, and Accident Insurance licenses in NJ.
