In order to make sound financial decisions, you need a comprehensive fee-based financial plan that addresses your goals and objectives. We work with you to develop a personalized plan that will help you achieve your goals.

The financial planning process includes:

  • Aggregating your data and determining your specific financial goals
  • Analyzing and evaluating your current financial condition
  • Developing and presenting the financial planning recommendations
  • Create action plan to implement steps
  • Monitoring your financial plan

Once your plan is established, we regularly review and adjust your plan in accordance with your life changes. We utilize technology to streamline the financial planning process and improve the client experience.

Disability Income Protection

Your income is your greatest asset and the engine that drives your financial plan. As doctors and dentists your earning potential over the course of your career is in the millions. Don’t allow an unexpected injury or illness to disrupt your career or to potentially devastate your income.

To protect yourself and your income, we recommend that you purchase Individual Disability Insurance. This recommendation applies even if your employer provides group disability insurance. However, not all individual disability insurance policies are created equal. For physician’s, the most important feature of a disability insurance policy is the definition of disability.

A True Own-Occupation definition of disability is the type of disability insurance you should consider.  True Own-Occupation covers you if you become disabled and are unable to perform the material and substantial duties of your occupation (specialty). The policy will continue to pay benefits as long as you are disabled even if you can work full-time in another occupation.

A few insurance companies offer True Own-Occupation and specialty specific coverage. We are independent insurance agents with access to insurance carriers to acquire disability income protection that fits your specific needs. As a physician, you would not ask a single company representative to get advice on implanting a medical device. Why ask an insurance salesman who sells one insurance policy for unbiased advice on other products?

Please contact us for disability insurance quotes or to analyze your current disability coverage.

Life Insurance **

Do you need life insurance?

Life insurance is not for the person who dies; it is for the people you leave behind.  If you have people in your life who depend upon you financially – you should consider insurance.

  • Ask yourself, When I die?
  • How will my family live?
  • Who will pay the bills?
  • Who will pay the mortgage?
  • Who will fund college savings plans for my children?
  • Who will support my spouse in retirement?

Your income is your greatest asset. Without your income, your family’s standard of living and financial security can be lost.

Life insurance replaces lost income due to a premature death. Life insurance can guard against the need for your family to make drastic lifestyle changes. Death benefits proceeds are generally income tax free if properly designated to your beneficiaries.

We are independent life insurance agents with access to many recognized insurance carriers. Please contact us for life insurance quotes or to analyze your current life insurance coverage.

Investment Management ***

We work with you to articulate your investment goals and to implement a strategy to help you achieve your goals. What are you trying to accomplish? Save for retirement, fund a college education or leave a legacy to your family. Your goals will dictate your investment objectives, risk tolerance and time horizon.

We will help you build a portfolio of diversified investments to reduce risk and the impact of volatile market swings. This strategy will help you avoid moving in and out of the market at the wrong times. The average investor is his own worst enemy. The average investor buys when times are good and markets are high, and sells when markets drop and prices are low.

This behavior is the opposite of a successful investor; who buys low and sells high. We will help you avoid common mistakes, by properly allocating your assets and utilizing a long term investment perspective.
