John P Sullivan

John P. Sullivan is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional who is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services, Inc. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Personal Financial Specialist who earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from New York University Graduate School of Business. John applies his background to provide financial services and advice for individuals, professionals, small business owners, estates and trusts.
John has been a financial advisor since 1989. Prior to that John was a Treasurer for a Fortune 1000 company and a senior manager at a Big Four CPA firm. In addition, he has been an adjunct professor of Finance and Accounting at Fairleigh Dickinson University as well as an instructor and lecturer at national financial seminars. With John's unique background and perspective to developing financial strategies, he frequently earns a place at the Million Dollar Roundtable, a national forum of financial advisors as well as the Circle of Excellence, which recognizes the leading financial advisors of Securian Financial Services.
John is actively involved in a number of professional associations such as The Financial Planning Association (FPA), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
John is also committed to the community where he lives and works. He has volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul Parish on the Finance and Pre-Cana committees and is a current Trustee on the Board of the Michael J Farrell Foundation at Oratory Preparatory School in Summit New Jersey. In addition to those volunteer activities, John is also involved in youth sports as a coach and instructor.
John grew up in Summit, New Jersey and now resides with his wife, Cindy and son, Kevin in Gillette, New Jersey.

Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) is an independent organization of life insurance and financial service professionals.
