Stephen Hawthorne
Stephen Hawthorne joined Allied Wealth Partners in November 2021, as a member of the firm’s Manasquan branch office. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Elon University with a double major in Finance and Entrepreneurship, Stephen set his sights on a career in the financial services industry. While enrolled at Elon, he interned with C&A Financial and participated in ‘Envestnet Institute on Campus’, an educational training program offered by the University geared toward students seeking a career in wealth management. These experiences provided him with a solid foundation prior to starting his career as a financial professional.
Utilizing the collaborative, team approach that Allied Wealth Partners offers, Stephen specializes in helping young families, retirees, and small business owners to achieve their financial goals. Having previously founded two small businesses in the past he has a unique understanding of the specific financial needs and objectives that come with running a business.
Stephen is passionate about helping his clients achieve their financial goals throughout the multiple phases of their lives. His objective is to assist them in amassing greater wealth, protecting their assets, keeping more of what they earn, and laying out a road map that will provide them with financial freedom and security. “It is not about how much money you make, but how much money you keep, how hard it works for you, and how many generations you keep it for.”
Fundamental to his practice is the guiding principle of pursuing his client’s best interests and creating financial plans to support those interests. Taking the time to learn about his clients and their goals in life is core to his approach.
Stephen understands that the responsibility of being a financial advisor is to be a teacher and educate his clients so that they understand the options and considerations in addressing financial decisions. He embraces this aspect of his role and uses his education and professional background to guide those he works with.
A resident of Freehold, NJ, Stephen is active with his Alma Mater’s Entrepreneurship program and alumni network. He also enjoys hiking, golf, and travel.
